Kawas is celebrating the milestone of 100 schools, marking a significant achievement in education! To commemorate the occasion, students embraced the theme by dressing up as 👴🏼100-year-olds 👵🏼and engaging in fun, themed activities, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.
Kawas was honored with state recognition for being an exemplary, high-performing school for the past five years under the National Blue Ribbon Program. The State Board of Education recognized 26 Texas schools for their outstanding teaching and learning, and our school was among them—thanks to the dedication and hard work of our entire community. Achieving this prestigious honor requires tenacity, commitment, and a strong work ethic. Congratulations to our teachers, staff, administration, parents, and especially our students for their dedication and hard work in making this achievement possible!
