Thank you to all the amazing parents who joined us for Report Card Night here at Kawas Elementary! We are so grateful for your time, support, and partnership as we welcome a new year and a new school semester.
Our parents had the opportunity to connect with their students’ teachers, celebrate progress, and learn what’s ahead for this exciting new semester. Your involvement truly makes a difference, and we always love welcoming our families on campus.

McDonalds of Laredo presented Dovalina, Leyendecker, Kawas, and D.D. Hachar Elementary Schools with a check during a ceremony at the LISD PAC Foyer. McDonalds hosted LISD McTeacher Night at various locations recently to benefit the four schools. The school received the donation for their efforts during the schools McTeacher Night Fundraiser.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Steve Tyson for his generous donation and unwavering support for our students. Because of his kindness, our children now have a fun, engaging space where they can learn the value of positive behavior, teamwork, and personal growth.
This gameroom will inspire our students to set goals, work hard, and become the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators. 💫
