Please be reminded that there will be no classes for LISD students on Monday, October 14, 2024, as this a Staff Development Day for LISD employees. Classes for all students will resume on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, with a regular schedule including transportation, hot meals, instruction, and extracurricular activities. Bottled water will be distributed to every student in every classroom as well as made available to all District staff. Meanwhile, we do ask that you continue to take precautionary measures and follow recommended safety standards as recommended by the City of Laredo while local authorities work closely with state health and environmental agencies to address the situation. Important announcement No classes on Monday for students due to staff development
Laredo ISD will be allowing elementary school students to wear costumes for October 31st. Please be advised that costumes must adhere to LISD rules. Please see the flyer below for further details.

Due to a boil water notice issued by the City of Laredo late Thursday evening, Laredo ISD is cancelling classes at all of its campuses on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Classes for LISD are tentatively planned to resume for all students on Tuesday, October 15, as Monday, October 14, is a Staff Development Day for all LISD employees. Therefore there will be no classes for LISD students on Monday, October 14.
LISD will closely monitor the situation with city officials and provide additional updates regarding next week’s operations on LISD’s social media.
